There were 57.47 million large-size TFT-LCD panels shipped globally in January, decreasing 16.8% on month, according to WitsView.

Taiwan-based Innolux and China-based Nanjing CEC Panda LCD Technology had LCD TV panel shipments slipping 22.3% and 42.0% respectively on month, WitsView said.

Global shipments of LCD TV panels in February will shrink 5-6% on month, while shipments for monitor applications will remain flat. Notebook and tablet applications will each see shipments drop 3-4%, WitsView indicated.
